The Story
Days of purgatory is a co-operative FPS that will challenge the most veteran of players with overwhelming hordes of monsters. Unworthy of the kingdom of heaven, the forces of hell have come to claim the soul of Liam Fortin. Journey through the demon infested zones to find supplies that will aid in surviving another night.
Days of Purgatory is a fast paced first person shooter, with an emphasis on killing hordes of monsters and scavenging for loot.
Liam Fortin has lived a terrible, murderous existence. Stranded in purgatory, forsaken by the heavens, only the demons of the underworld have come to claim his soul.
Search through the demon infested purgatory for supplies and weapons to survive another night, for failure will surely mean damnation.
Key Features
-4 Player co-op campaign – During the day players will need to organize scavenging parties in order to find useful resources and lost souls. Players will need to work together to survive the hordes of undead that besiege Shadwell Great House at night.
-Find lost souls – Lost Souls in purgatory can be found and used as playable characters.
-Level up system – All playable characters will have their own level and level up bonuses.
-Sacrifice Lost souls to empower Liam Fortin – When enough lost souls are sacrifices at the altar, Liam Fortin will increase in level. Every Level Up achieved for Liam Fortin will give a global bonus to all lost souls under the players control.
-Randomized Daily Event System – At the beginning of every day, all players will be notified of event for that day. Events can range from being mildly beneficial, to outright dangerous.
-Many weapons to chose from, and many enemies to fight.
-Find the Loot caches before time expires – Loot caches contain valuable bonuses, ranging from weapons and attachments to ammo supplies and valuable keys.
-Old School Deathmatch – Kill your friends in unique maps while dealing with an onslaught of monsters trying to kill everyone.
What do you get?
MULTIPLAYER VS MODE IS NOT THE MAIN GAME MODE.
DEATHMATCH – Kill other players, while fighting zombies.
TEAM DEATHMATCH – Work as a team to kill other players while fending off the undead.
SURVIVAL – You are being hunted. Not just by monsters, but by players. Last one alive wins.
New monster types will be added in as they are created and integrated into Days of Purgatory.
The 4 player COOP CAMPAIGN will be added when ready, and is our main intention for this game.
The campaign must be presented in a completed state. Until it is ready, the VS mode will allow players to fight the monsters as they are created, and added to Days of Purgatory.
